Durga Shankar Mishra, Principal Secretary of UP Government conferred the award with his best wishes to the recepient. On this occasion, Union Minister of State for Health SP Singh Baghel said Abhishek, who hails from Agra is a rising star of journalism, this award will encourage him to touch new heights in the field of journalism.

Abhishek Mehrotra, a native of Agra, did his early education from St. Francis Convent School. He holds a master’s degree in journalism from the KMI Institute of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra. He has been an alumnus of Agra College.
