Notably, Umesh Pal was a witness of MLA Raju Pal’s murder that happened in 2005. Atiq Ahmed, his brother Ashraf, his son, and other people were accused in the murders of Raju and Umesh Pal. The identities of the eight suspected people who were arrested surfaced during the investigation. On Saturday, a charge sheet was submitted.
On February 24, Umesh Pal, witness of BSP leader Raju Pal’s murder was shot dead in Prayagraj’s Sulem Saray area. Notably, On the night of April 15, while being going for a medical examination in Prayagraj, Atiq Ahmad and his brother Ashraf Ahmad were shot and killed by men acting as press persons. Both gangsters were shot at about point-blank range.
In contrast, according to sources, Prayagraj police have issued lookout notices against Shaista Parveen, the wife of murdered gangster Atiq Ahmed, as well as Guddu Muslim and Sabir, two of his close associates.
Officials claim that Shaista Parveen is the subject of a Rs 50,000 reward offered by the Uttar Pradesh police. The cops are unable to locate Parveen and the other two despite their best attempts.
In Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, and the surrounding areas, search efforts are still in progress, according to the police. Since Atiq Ahmed, his brother Ashraf, and Atiq’s son Azad Ahmed were killed on April 13 during an encounter with the STF, Shaista has been on run.
