Case Filed Against Karnataka Man For Giving Death Threats To Modi And Yogi

The Surpur police opened a case against accused under the Arms Act and different IPC sections.

A man from the Yadgiri district of Karnataka has been charged with first degree murder for threatening to kill both Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The accused, Muhammad Rasool, allegedly threatened to assassinate Yogi Adityanath and PM Modi in a video that he uploaded on Facebook, using derogatory language.

The accused, who was born and raised in Surpur, Yadgiri district, was employed as a laborer in Hyderabad before relocating there.

The Surpur police opened a case against Mohammad Rasool under the Arms Act and sections 505(1)(b) and 25(1)(b) in response to a local’s complaint.

Additionally, they have started looking for the accused in a number of places, including Hyderabad.
