Bhajan Lal Sharma takes oath as Rajasthan Chief Minister in presence of PM Modi

The ceremony took place in front of the famous Albert Hall and was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and chief ministers from various states.

Bhajan Lal Sharma, the chief minister-designate of Rajasthan, took oath as state’s chief minister on Friday.

In addition to Sharma, the newly nominated Deputy Chief Ministers Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa took an oath of office at the BJP legislature party meeting.

Governor Kalraj Mishra administered the oath of office to the three.

The ceremony took place in front of the famous Albert Hall and was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), JP Nadda, several union ministers, and chief ministers from various states.

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar attended the event in Jaipur. Vasundhara Raje, a BJP leader and former chief minister of Rajasthan, was also present at Sharma’s swearing-in ceremony.

Sharma fed cows at the Pinjrapol Gaushala on Tonk Road and offered prayers at the Govind Devji temple in the state capital before the event. He was accompanied by his supporters and family as well. Sharma went to another temple as well.

The BJP leader then proceeded to his home at Balaji Tower, which is close to Jawahar Circle, and asked his parents’ blessings.

Before heading off to the oath-taking ceremony, he also paid a visit to a Shiv temple located on the premises.
