Ahead Of Today’s Cabinet Meeting PM Modi Meets Amit Shah And Other Key Leaders

Ahead of the cabinet meeting scheduled to take place at 6:30 pm today PM Modi is meeting key leaders including Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi met Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP leader JP Nadda.

While the agenda of meeting to be held today at 6:30 pm has not been revealed but it is anticipated that the eight important bills that are scheduled for consideration during the special session will likely be discussed.

On Sunday, during an all-party meeting the opposition was provided with a list of eight bills that will be discussed during the special session of parliament. The controversial election officer appointment bill, which had previously been thought to be on the agenda, was dropped in the face of opposition protests.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed “Parliamentary journey of 75 years starting from Samvidhan Sabha – achievements, experiences, memories and learnings” in the Lok Sabha today. He said, “bidding goodbye to this building is an emotional moment” in reference to the Parliament moving to the new building on Tuesday.
