Adani Saksham Launches Skill Center In Metaverse

AHMEDABAD: The Adani Skill Development Center (ASDC) was established as a non-profit organisation on May 16, 2016, with the goal of educating Indian youth and encouraging national development. It has now been operating for seven years and entered the metaverse as the first skill centre ever.

Two courses were served first. With the achievement of this goal, the Adani Foundation is advancing its mission to use cutting-edge technology to educate tomorrow’s youngsters.

With Metaverse, ASDC is entering a historical period in which there is a special convergence of technology, knowledge, and abilities. As a result, a setting is created for immersive instructional experiences. Because of the urgent need for healthcare and safety standards on a national level, ASDC has given fire safety and healthcare and hospital industry (General Duty Assistant) courses at Metaverse top priority.

Imagine the exhilaration of students entering a virtual classroom while wearing a headset, effectively learning theoretical material, and then engaging in practical exercises in the metaverse. It is a paradigm-shifter that gives the trainees a comprehensive understanding of their topic of study. Students will be able to enrol in these courses on Metaverse from 40 ASDC sites spread across 13 Indian states.

Students from all around the world will also have access to these courses thanks to ASDC. Without the use of a VR headset, one can enrol in these courses online, learn the material using a computer, and experience the virtual classroom on their screen.

Adani keeps implementing into its curriculum the demands of the enabling sector. It is promoting the development of India’s youth in line with industry-specific expectations by providing skill-development courses utilising cutting-edge technology like Augmented Reality for welding and simulation-based software for crane operation.

A fresh revolution in that direction has begun with the introduction of a skill centre in Metaverse. Adani Saksham has trained 1.25 lakh students in just seven years from its founding, more than 56 thousand of whom are working or own their own businesses.
