Salman Khan Advised This Film Director To Learn Patience, Actor Says Latter Yells at On Set

In an interview, Salman Khan revealed that Director Sooraj Barjatya is an example for other directors when it comes to maintaining a positive work environment on film set.

In one of the interviews with Rajshri he shared that he adviced Sanjay Leela Bhansali to hang out with Sooraj Barjatya to learn how to be patient.

When Sooraj Barjatya was talking about how he and Salman understood one other’s strengths and shortcomings in one of the interviews with Rajshri, Salman interjected to say that the best quality about the director is his temperament. He continued by saying that he is an example for other directors when it comes to maintaining a positive work environment.

Salman said, “He makes the atmosphere excellent for his actors to perform. Even if the shift is getting stretched, lights are going, he doesn’t bother. Instead, he works on collaborating with his actors.

The actor went on to say that Barjatya has the same level of tolerance and patience as Gautam Buddha and never screams at his actors. In fact, Salman claimed that the director is aware that the actor won’t be able to give a good performance if he is in a foul mood. Salman added with a smile, He knows if the actor is at his happiest best, he will perform the best.”

Salman, meanwhile, recalled Sanjay Leela Bhansali shouting on his set. He added, “He was yelling… and apparently he does that a lot. I told him to go and hang with Sooraj for a bit. He is throwing things… He told me, ‘Yeah, I am losing it.’ I said the first thing you do (is keep patience). To make your actor look beautiful … Taj Mahal is made out of love. Mohabbat karte ho tab banta hai, nafrat se nahi (Taj Mahal is made out of love, not out of resentment).”

Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan have worked together on on various projects like Saawariya, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, and Khamoshi.
