Gadar 2: Anupam Kher Regards Sunny Deol As A Cult Figure, Calls Film ‘Tsunami of Emotions’

The most recent addition to the list is Anupam Kher. The Kashmir Files star expressed his admiration for the Anil Sharma directorial on the microblogging platform X, earlier known as Twitter.

Sharing his experience, Kher recounted watching Gadar 2 at the Gaiety / Galaxy theatre in Bandra. He reminisced about his last visit to the single-screen theatre, which was the premiere of his own film Hum. Describing Gadar 2 as a “tsunami of emotions,” Kher mentioned how the film resonated with both the actors on screen and the audience in the theatre. He emphasized the movie’s portrayal of diverse culture of India, labelling it as cathartic. Kher highlighted the intense audience reactions, with crowds passionately cheering at every dialogue.

Hum star further extended his appreciation to Sunny Deol’s portrayal, stating that he is not an actor anymore and has become a cult figure. He noted the profound impact of Deol’s performance on the viewers. He also commended Iutkarsh Sharma’s promising acting and Manish Wadhwa’s portrayal of the Pakistani general. Kher expressed gratitude to Anil Sharma for taking him on an exhilarating cinematic journey.

Since its release, Gadar 2 has received overwhelming responses from both audiences and critics.
