The movie had an occupancy rate of roughly 12.77 percent on its sixth day.

Film industry insiders and traders were taken aback by the abrupt drop of the Hrithik Roshan’s and Deepika Padukone’s film Fighter on its first Monday. Early estimates from Sacnilk.com for day six show that the movie made about ₹7.75 crore nett on Tuesday in India. Its earnings have decreased if compared to the collection of the previous day.

The portal states that Fighter’s total revenue in India is ₹134.25 crore till date. The movie had an occupancy rate of roughly 12.77 percent on its sixth day.

Fighter Trader states, “Crash of Fighter on Monday has shocked trade and industry alike. No one was expecting it to come down so heavily on Monday. B and C tier center audience didn’t support the film in a big way post Friday and on Monday they dint show up in cinemas at all. Shocking and concerning trend for the industry. First Tiger 3, then Dunki and now Fighter – all were strong contenders for HGOTY (Highest Grosser Of The Year)!”

In the meantime, Fighter, which has made ₹225 crore worldwide, is doing well at the box office. The movie still has not performed as well as filmmaker Siddharth Anand’s earlier work, Pathaan and War.

The main cast of Fighter includes Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi. It was released on January 25, just in time for the long Republic Day weekend, exactly one year after Pathaan. The Siddharth Anand-directed movie was well-received by critics and public.
