Bharat Jodo Yatra: Rahul’s Castle In An Empty Vessel

Rahul probably is unaware of the fact that all the opposition parties in our country have a tremendous vision. Each party has a very good vision about things.  With this vision they behold things all around and they see only one thing..

Rahul Gandhi in his Bharat Jodo Yatra

Rahul Gandhi in his Bharat Jodo Yatra

If ever Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had an alternative political philosophy parallel to the one the BJP has, all the opposition parties of the country could have been united under one solid banner against the saffron party. Lately Rahul Gandhi has voiced the same idea.

Rahul says this in other words, ‘I have said in my ninth press conference during my Bharat Jodo Yatra that the opposition parties should have a vision of their own if they want to defeat the BJP.”

Parties have a clear vision

Rahul probably is unaware of the fact that all the opposition parties in our country have a tremendous vision. Each party has a very good vision about things.  With this vision they behold things all around and they see only one thing, that is – power, chair, throne! Apart from this, all the parties are empty and they are also aware of this fact.

Parties’ rattles are empty for real

They have empty rattles in the name of principles, ideology, policy, program. They keep playing around with it. They have strings of caste, religion, sect, language, provincialism and family-ism too. During election days, they are busy in sailing their boat with the help of these rattles. And if they are in power, they pile up revelries.

Plans to counter India’s poverty and inequality?

No leader or party has any plan or a way out to work towards encountering India’s poverty and inequality, they are all blank about the steps to be taken to make India prosperous and powerful. The reason being, all parties are in power to be in power only. The love beating the cymbals before the polls and after coming to power, they start working as bureaucrats.

Congress has a better presence

The Communist Party is the only one in India whose leaders are educated and thoughtful, but this party is also bound by the shackles of Malayali sub-nationalism (Kerala). Congress is the only opposition party, whose members are still present in every district of the country, but unfortunately it neither a leader nor a policy.

Now the Congress is on ‘ventilator’

About ten to twelve years ago, a potential was visible in Rahul Gandhi. Nevertheless, so much of his time was spent in enjoying the life as a prince from a kingly family. Now that the Congress is on ‘ventilator’, Rahul has tried to learn the A, B, C of politics. But how will the leaders of the opposition parties accept this novice political infant of three-four months as their guru?

Opposition is not united at the Yatra either

Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati have refused to join the Bharat-Jodo Yatra. Well, how will now senior leaders like Nitish, Sitaram Yechury, Mamta Banerjee, Kumaraswamy, Patnaik join? Even if they join, how will their alliance be formed? And even if it is made, how long will it last? Just, if the Congress Party itself remains united and does not break, India will consider this Bharat Jodo Yatra was successful.
