The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, headquartered in Cuttack, is set to release the Class 12 or +2 board exam results today, 15 May 2025.
Students who appeared for the exams across the Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational streams will be able to access their marks via the official portals — chseodisha.nic.in and orissaresults.nic.in.
Candidates should keep their roll numbers and registration details ready.
After downloading the results, they should immediately check all personal and academic information on the mark sheet.
In case of discrepancies, students must contact CHSE authorities without delay.
For the 2025 exams, CHSE implemented a two-phase evaluation system to ensure enhanced transparency and accuracy.
The first phase ran from 2 to 14 April, followed by the second phase, which continued until 28 April.
Over 16,000 school teachers evaluated the answer scripts.
They set up 148 evaluation centres—78 operated offline, while 70 used digital tools to streamline the assessment.
CHSE officials cross-verified each answer script with multiple examiners to minimise errors and ensure fair results.

To view the results online, students can follow these steps:
- Visit orissaresults.nic.in or chseodisha.nic.in
- Click on the link titled ‘Odisha 12th Result 2025’
- Enter your roll number and registration number in the required fields
- The mark sheet will be displayed on the screen
- Download and save the PDF for future reference
Examination Timeline & Security Measures
The CHSE Class 12 board exams were held from 18 February to 27 March 2025. CHSE’s Controller of Examinations, Prasanta Kumar Parida, had earlier committed to releasing results within 45 days of the final exam.
To maintain examination integrity, officials deployed 35 surprise inspection squads across 30 districts.
They kept their identities confidential to prevent pre-emptive disruptions and ensure neutral evaluations.
In 2024, 3.84 lakh students had appeared for the CHSE Class 12 exams.
The pass percentages were impressive — 86.93% in Science, 82.27% in Commerce, 80.95% in Arts, and 68.02% in Vocational courses.
Officials declared results on 26 May last year, making this year’s announcement notably earlier.
Students who do not pass will be eligible for compartment exams.
Officials will release details of these supplementary exams alongside the main result.
Although this year’s Class 10 Science paper encountered discrepancies, CHSE has taken robust steps in the Class 12 evaluation to uphold accuracy and fairness.
