‘Project Naman’ Launched By Army For Martyrs- Ex Officials Family Welfare

“Naman”, a common service centre will help veterans and their families.

On Tuesday, the army launched ‘Project Naman’ which will establish grievance redressal centres for families and kins of the army officers who lost their lives, as per official.

According to sources, the first such centre will be established in Delhi Cantonment. An MOU is signed between HDFC Bank Limited, CSE e-Governance India Limited and the Directorate of Indian Army Veterans for the project ‘NAMAN’.

“The project entails establishing facilitation and grievance redressal centers for army veterans and the next of kin,” the ministry said in a statement.

“Naman”, a Common Service Centre will help veterans and their families.

It will provide all government-to-customer services and make it easier for veterans, their kin, and their dependents to update their pensioner accounts on the SPARSH portal.

13 further centres will be created at various military posts across India during Phase II of the Project, according to officials.
