A special session of Parliament will be held by the centre between September 18 to 22 for five days to give a tribute to the government’s Amrit Kaal as per sources.
Prahlad Joshi, parliamentary Affairs minister tweeted, “Special Session of Parliament (13th Session of 17th Lok Sabha and 261st Session of Rajya Sabha) is being called from 18th to 22nd September having five sittings. Amid Amrit Kaal looking forward to having fruitful discussions and debate in Parliament.”
In the upcoming session of the parliament, the government will be holding discussions and debates. However, no official statement has been made on what will be the agenda of the session which will be conducted a few days after the G-20 summit in Delhi.
The last monsoon session conducted in the last month was held in the old building of parliament. While the political parties are gearing up for the assembly elections this special session comes as a surprise.
