WATCH: Over 100 Gas Cylinders Washed Away In Gujarat Due To Heavy Rain, Video Viral

Due to the torrential rain in Gujarat, some disturbing reports have surfaced, raising significant worries. In a recent video from Navsari showed gas cylinders floating and being swept away.

Navsari and Junagarh in Gujarat are two of the districts that have been particularly hit hard by the recent downpour. So far, the district has received 943 mm of rainfall.

However, a video of gas cylinders being washed away in rain is making the viral on social media, raising concerns for the safety of people. Additionally, it was noted that the lives of cattle were in risk.

Disturbing footage emerged showing buffaloes being washed away in the rainfall on flooded road in Gujarat’s Junagarh. However, some were rescued by the volunteers. People were spotted wading through deep water in numerous Gujarat. They were saved by volunteers in large numbers.

Maharashtra, Gujarat’s neighbour facing flood

Maharashtra, Gujarat’s neighbour state, is also experiencing flood-like conditions as well. The state has been urged to exercise caution by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) as a result.

It has issued an orange signal for Sunday’s potential for isolated areas of heavy to very heavy rain in the Palghar, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg districts.

In the state, there are ongoing rescue efforts. One of the events involved an operation by the Indian Air Force (IAF) on Saturday in Yavatmal to rescue individuals who were trapped in Anand Nagar village because of a flood.

Rescue efforts have begun in the interim as authorities work to relocate citizens from low-lying areas to safer locations. The state government has urged citizens to exercise caution and to get in touch with the control centre in case of an emergency. They have also been told not to go to the dams and the surrounding areas.
