Anurag Thakur, a union minister, claimed on Sunday that the Narendra Modi administration is a sensitive one that has done a great deal for the welfare of the underprivileged over the past nine years.

Speaking at a gathering in the nearby town of Palghar, Thakur claimed that the prime minister’s anti-corruption policies have made the poor’s faces brighter.

“The Narendra Modi government is a sensitive regime which did immense good for the welfare of the poor in the last nine years,” he said.
