Nishant Pitti Refutes Links To Sky Exchange & Mahadev App

EaseMyTrip Chairman Nishant Pitti has publicly refuted all claims linking him to the Sky Exchange or Mahadev App platforms, both of which are under investigation for illegal betting operations.

Speaking on Tuesday, Pitti stated that such allegations are ‘completely baseless and misleading’.

In an official statement, he emphasised, “I categorically deny the recent accusations that associate me with Sky Exchange, Mahadev App, or any unlawful conduct. These claims are not only false but also an intentional effort to malign my reputation.”

Pitti further noted that an individual appears to be deliberately spreading ‘false narratives and misinformation’ in a sustained campaign to damage his credibility.

He described the strategy as defamatory and said it was a distraction tactic to link his name to unrelated matters without any factual basis.

He added, “I have always complied fully with all financial, legal, and regulatory norms, and remain committed to maintaining transparency in both personal and professional spheres.”

ED Seizure & Clarification

Addressing the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) recent raid and the seizure of ₹7 lakh from his residence, Pitti clarified that the funds are entirely legitimate.

“The money was set aside for family needs, and every rupee is accounted for. I am cooperating fully with authorities and ready to offer any clarification,” he said.

The ED, investigating the Mahadev App case, has conducted raids at over 170 locations to date.

In a press release on 21 April, the agency disclosed the seizure and attachment of assets worth approximately ₹3,002.47 crore.

It also confirmed the arrest of 13 individuals and the naming of 74 accused across five prosecution complaints.

Pitti’s statement seeks to draw a clear line between his personal conduct and the ongoing ED investigation.

Furthermore, he reiterated his commitment to legal compliance and rejected any links to the entities in question.

With the Mahadev App controversy continuing to dominate headlines, Pitti’s response marks an effort to protect his reputation and reassure stakeholders of his integrity amidst unverified claims.
