Mann Ki Baat has emerged as a cornerstone of India’s public communication since its inception in October 2014.

Over the years, it has covered diverse themes such as Swachh Bharat (Clean India), environmental conservation, digital literacy, women’s empowerment, and grassroots innovation.

The initiative has successfully inspired citizen-led movements and brought to light stories of unsung heroes contributing to society in remarkable ways.

Following the live Hindi broadcast, Akashvani will relay the programme in multiple regional languages, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for India’s diverse audience.

Highlights from Previous Episode

In the 125th episode, Prime Minister Modi commended a security guard who compiled a record of all fallen soldiers, preserving their names as a tribute to their sacrifice. He emphasised the significance of national unity and the role of sports in shaping a strong and vibrant India.

“The spirit of Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat — the unity of the nation — is vital for the country’s progress. Sports nurture this spirit. As I often say, Jo Khelta Hai, Woh Khilta Hai,” PM Modi remarked.

He also interacted briefly with Mohsin Ali, a participant in the Khelo India Water Sports Festival, and Rasmita Sahoo from Odisha, acknowledging their dedication and achievements.

Today’s broadcast is expected to build on these themes, reflecting the Prime Minister’s commitment to nation-building through dialogue.

Mann Ki Baat continues to strengthen the connection between the government and the people, fostering collective responsibility, social awareness, and inspirational action across the country.
