Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Monday evening, dedicating the success of Operation Sindoor to India’s Nari Shakti—the women of the nation.
He paid tribute to those who lost loved ones during the recent terror attack, highlighting the brutality endured by several women and children in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam.
“Pakistan tried to remove the sindoor of our women.
We uprooted their universities of terror,” said the Prime Minister, referring to Pakistan-based terror hubs.
India Names And Shames Pakistan’s Terror Infrastructure
In a direct attack on Pakistan’s role in promoting terrorism, PM Modi publicly named Bahawalpur and Muridke as “universities of terror.” These locations are widely believed to harbour and support terrorist training camps.
The Prime Minister further asserted that India’s Armed Forces had “crossed a century” in their offensive, confirming that more than 100 terrorists were neutralised during the operation. “We have spoken in the language they understand,” he added, marking a significant military statement.
Pakistan’s Military Stands Exposed
While commending the precision and bravery of Indian forces, PM Modi further dismissed the strength of the Pakistani Army, stating it cannot compare to the might and discipline of India’s Armed Forces.
“It was Pakistan that came begging for peace,” he remarked, revealing that Pakistan’s military had reached out for de-escalation following India’s robust response.
India Rejects Nuclear Blackmail And Vows Continued Action
Looking ahead, PM Modi made it abundantly clear that Operation Sindoor is not over.
He warned that India’s armed forces can reach any land that breeds or shelters terrorism, regardless of its location.
“We will respond to terrorism and its patrons in the language they understand. Nuclear blackmail won’t work anymore,” he said, reinforcing India’s new defence doctrine.
A New Era Of Retaliation
The Prime Minister underlined a shift in India’s strategic posture, emphasising that there is no distinction between terrorists and those who shelter them. India, he said, would not hesitate to strike back—firmly, decisively, and on its own terms.
This address marks a pivotal moment in India’s national security narrative, as the government presents Operation Sindoor not just as a military campaign but as a firm message of zero tolerance towards terrorism and its enablers.
