Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Noida police are currently conducting a search operation targeting Bangladeshi nationals residing illegally in India.
The operation has led to the arrest of several individuals, particularly in Noida, where Sector 39 Police Station acted on local intelligence and confidential information. On Thursday, the police arrested eight Bangladeshi nationals for living illegally in the country.
Details Of Arrested Individuals
The arrested individuals have been identified as:
- Md. Fakhruddin alias Rony (Age 20)
- Son of Md. Safikul Islam
- A resident of Maradhyar Pau Mantaratuli Haat, Thakur Village, Bangladesh
- Rihan (Age 22)
- Son of Md. Rabu
- A resident of Geruadangi, PO Munna Toli Haat, Thakurgaon, Bangladesh
- Md. Momin (Age 23)
- Son of Md. Mukbul Nikaasi
- A resident of Belajan Dak Belajan, Thakurgaon, Bangladesh
- Md. Kamrul (Age 18)
- Son of Md. Jamal
- A resident of Maradhar, Thakurgaon, Bangladesh
- Md. Qayum alias Ripon (Age 24)
- Son of Md. Fazjul Hussain
- A resident of Gerua Dagi, Thakurgaon, Bangladesh
- Raviul Islam (Age 24)
- Son of Md. Majivur Rahman
- A resident of Uttar Sonavati, Thakurgaon, Bangladesh
- Rasheel (Age 19)
- Son of Md. Fazluhaq
- A resident of Maradhar, Thakurgaon, Bangladesh
- Sohail Rana (Age 20)
- Son of Md. Suleman Ali
- A resident of Gerua Dangi, Thakurgaon, Bangladesh
The accused were arrested near pillar number 82, Salarpur Dadri Road. During the arrest, the police recovered six fake Aadhaar cards and one fake PAN card from their possession.
Noida Police Action & Legal Proceedings
Following the arrests, police have registered a case against the accused under Sections 336(3)/340(2) BNS and 14(A) of the Foreigners Act. This action is part of a larger operation involving strict monitoring of Bangladeshi nationals in India with fake documents.
Authorities are taking immediate legal action against the accused, and further investigations are underway.
Police Efforts To Identify & Deport Illegal Immigrants
Police officials stated that they have intensified efforts to identify illegal Bangladeshi nationals residing in the Gautam Buddha Nagar district. The authorities are not only tracking down individuals who possess fake documents but are also preparing to arrest and deport them. Many of these individuals have entered India illegally and are residing and working in different parts of the region after securing Aadhaar cards.
This ongoing operation highlights the authorities’ commitment to identifying and taking legal action against foreign nationals living in India illegally, particularly those who have fraudulently obtained official documentation.
