With little improvement from the low voter turnout in the first two hours of voting, voter participation reached 19.95 percent by 11 AM on Wednesday in the Delhi Assembly elections, as per the information shared by the Election Commission of India.
The Nation’s capital Delhi is under polls to elect the representatives of the 18th assembly in a Single phase.
North East district of Delhi stood on top with 24.87 percent voter turnout followed by the Shahdara district with 23. 30 percent, as per the data from the ECI. Meanwhile, the Central District recorded the lowest ballot participation of 16.46 percent.

The South West district recorded a turnout of 21.90 percent, New Delhi 16.80 percent, East 20.03 percent, North 18.63 percent, North West 19.75 percent, South 19.75 percent, South East 19.66 percent, and West 17.67 percent, as of 11 AM.
Polling for 70 assembly seats in Delhi and two by-poll seats one each in Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh commenced at 7 Am morning today.
The Milkipur assembly constituency recorded a turnout of 29.86 percent in the bye-assembly elections. The Erode (East) constituency of Tamil Nadu witnessed a turnout of 26.03 percent as of 11 AM in the by-polls.
