Bharat Express News Network Chairman, CMD Upendrra Rai exercised his right to vote at a polling booth in the Greater Kailash area.

According to ECI, a voter turnout of 33.31% was recorded until 1 pm on Wednesday in the single-phase Delhi Assembly elections.

With little improvement from the low voter turnout in the first two hours of voting, voter participation reached 19.95 percent by 11 AM on Wednesday

On Tuesday, Rajiv Kumar, CEC announced that India is on the verge of becoming the first country to have one billion registered voters.

As counting began for the 2024 elections, the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance led with 172 seats in Maharashtra, while the MVA trailed with 47.

The counting of votes for the 2024 Assembly Elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, alongside bypolls in 15 states, began promptly at 8 AM.

Maharashtra saw a 32.18% voter turnout in its single-phase assembly elections, while Jharkhand recorded 47.92% by 1 PM on Wednesday.

PM Modi urged voters in Jharkhand & Maharashtra to cast ballots enthusiastically as voting began for the crucial state assembly elections.

Polling began across 288 constituencies in Maharashtra, with 1,00,186 stations set up, including 42,604 in urban and 57,582 in rural areas.

Polling commenced for the second and final phase of Jharkhand’s Assembly elections, spanning 38 constituencies across 12 districts.
