Congress unvieled the logo of ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ on Saturday. Sharing the logo the grand-old party said, “Where every mile is a fight for a better world…Nyay Ka Haq Milne Tak”. Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the Congress, announced on Saturday that his party is initiating the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra because the government has denied the opposition an opportunity to bring up issues in Parliament.
Yatra participants to travel 6,713 km
Beginning on January 14, participants in the Rahul Gandhi-led Manipur to Maharashtra yatra will travel 6,713 km on buses and on foot. In a press conference, Kharge said, “The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will focus on basic social, political and economic issues of the country.”

Government did not give us the chance to raise our issues: Kharge
Revealing the reason why Congress has to go for Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra he said, “The government did not give us the chance to raise our issues in Parliament.” He further said that this yatra is nothing but a platform for us to listen to people.
‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ will cover 110 districts
Civil society members and INDIA bloc leaders will also be joining the march, he revealed. According to the Congress, this East-to-West Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will also be effective and impactful like the South-to-North Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir that was held earlier. ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ will cover 110 districts, 337 assembly segments and 100 Lok Sabha seats in 66 days. The march will start from Manipur’s Imphal ahead of the 2024 upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
