PM Modi visits Ujjwala Yojana’s beneficiary residence, sips tea

PM Modi inaugurated the redeveloped Ayodhya railway station earlier today and also flagged off six Vande Bharat and two Amrit Bharat trains.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the home of a woman who is the tenth-crore Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana beneficiary in Ayodhya today.

PM Modi was welcomed with tea at the residence of the recipient of the flagship program, which supplies rural and impoverished households with LPG cylinders as an alternative to firewood, coal, and cow dung cakes for cooking.

Traditional cooking fuels had negative effects on both the environment and the health of rural women.

PM Modi was greeted by a huge crowd as he made his way through Ayodhya’s winding streets. A boy from the streets showed PM a painting, which later signed.

PM Modi inaugurated the redeveloped Ayodhya railway station earlier today and also flagged off six Vande Bharat trains and two Amrit Bharat trains.

In addition, he will inaugurate an airport and lay the foundation stone of development projects t in Uttar Pradesh.

According to officials, the first phase of the redeveloped Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station has been completed at an expense of over ₹ 240 crore.

The prime minister visited Ayodhya before the Ram temple’s “pran pratishtha,” or consecration ceremony which will be conducted on January 22 this year.
