Ireland’s police commissioner said on Friday that the violence that erupted in Dublin after three children were hurt in a knife assault was unprecedented in decades.
Garda Commissioner Drew Harris stated, “What we saw last night was an extraordinary outbreak of violence”.
“These are scenes that we have not seen in decades”, Harris added.
