High‑Level talks advance strategic agenda
During Friday’s talks at Casa Rosada, the two leaders celebrated 75 years of diplomatic ties and five years of strategic partnership. They agreed to:
- Diversify trade and explore an expanded India‑MERCOSUR Preferential Trade Agreement.
- Deepen defence cooperation to serve mutual strategic interests.
- Secure critical resources, with Argentina set to supply lithium and shale gas to bolster India’s energy security.
- Expand collaboration in nuclear energy, agriculture, digital public infrastructure (UPI), space, railways, pharmaceuticals, and sports.
Both leaders condemned terrorism in all its forms and vowed to amplify the Global South’s voice in multilateral forums.
