This Pakistani Family Holds Guinness World Record, For Being ‘Born On The Same Day’

Larkana’s Amir Azad Mangi, his wife, and his children hold the Guinness World Record for being born on the same day.

An exceptional family from Pakistan’s Larkana has set a global record. One thing all nine members of the family have in common is that they were all born on August 1.
“The family of nine consists of the father, Ameer Ali; the mother, Khudeja; and seven children aged 19-30: Sindhoo, female twins Sasui and Sapna, Aamir, Ambar, and male twins Ammar and Ahmar,” according to Guinness World Records. Surprisingly, they all have the same birthday August 1st. This is a world record for the most number of siblings born on the same day.”

Ameer and Khudeja are celebrating their wedding anniversary on this important day. They married on their birthday in 1991, exactly one year before the birth of their eldest daughter.

New record

The seven Mangi children also hold the record for the most siblings born on the same day, according to the record book company. The previous record holder was five children from the Cummins family (USA), all born on February 20 between 1952 and 1966. Until the Mangi family was discovered, this was the only known instance of a family having five children with identical birthdays.

Ameer was “surprised and delighted” when Sindhoo, his first child, was born on August 1, 1992, the same day as he and his wife. He and Khudeja were both shocked when each consecutive birth occurred on the same day. They considered it a “gift from God.”

Every child was conceived and delivered normally. Khudeja’s labor was never induced prematurely, and no babies were born prematurely via cesarean section.
