On Monday, the SC suspended an NCPCR recommendation that called for all states and Union Territories to halt funding for Madrasa Boards.

An official from the district administration stated that the prohibitory orders, enacted under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, will remain in effect until Wednesday. This measure aims to control the situation and restore normalcy.
