The ED has filed the fresh complaint under Section 174 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) regarding non-attendance in obedience to a public servant's order, read with Section 63(4) of the PMLA, which addresses intentional disobedience of directions.

A division bench comprising Justices P. D. Naik and N. R. Borkar has accepted the plea and scheduled Wankhede's petition against the case for March 1.

The ED has also filed a prosecution complaint against five entities, including three alleged associates of Khan who were apprehended by the agency in November 2023.

Arvind Kejriwal's reluctance to comply with the ED's summons raises the possibility of him facing potential arrest.

Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief of the Aam Aadmi Party, is expected to appear before a Delhi court today to provide an explanation for his absence during the five previous summons issued by the ED.
