India to become 3rd largest economy during my third term is my guarantee: PM Modi

On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated his "guarantee" to make the nation the third largest economy during his third term in office and listed the "four castes" he wants to empower. While giving a speech at a rally in his parliamentary constituency, Varanasi Modi talked about 2024 Lok Sabha elections, in which he plans to run for a third term in office.

Ex-Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif Stands Pakistan Responsible For Its Condition

In an apparent reference to the country's problems, Pakistan's erstwhile prime leader Nawaz Sharif stated on Tuesday that "we shot ourselves in our own foot" rather than the US or India being to blame for its financial difficulties. In an interview held here with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) ticket contenders, the party chief said, “Today where Pakistan has reached (in terms of the state of the economy) this is not done by India, the US or even Afghanistan. In fact, we shot ourselves in our own foot...they (a reference to the military) imposed a selected (government) on this nation by rigging the 2018 polls that led to the sufferings of the people and downfall of the economy.”

This is the reason I try to interact with you all whenever there is a Smart India Hackathon. I was told that this team is working to develop IoT based system for Railway Cargo and there are Bangladesh students in the team as well. Indian Railways is going through its transformational phase. Central Govt is spending thousands of crores on this and our focus is also on logistics. Your innovation will be of great help. I felt good seeing students from Bangladesh in your team. We have started 'Study in India' program for students from foreign countries to come to India for higher studies."

Major Arms and Ammunition Cache Seized in Manipur’s Bishnupur District; Security Forces Launch Investigation

Manipur: Security forces recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition during the search operation conducted in Bishnupur district. During the operation, one Carbine rifle with magazine, one country made 9 mm Pistol with magazine, three 9 mm rounds, four Hand Grenade, one Improvised Motor Tube, two 51 mm Mortar Shell, one Smoke Shell, 17 Improvised Mortar Shell, 9 twelve bore round and two hundred gram of gunpowder were recovered. A case has been registered at Phoubakchao Ikhai Police Station and investigation is underway.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a telephone call today from the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu. PM Netanyahu briefed the Prime Minister on the recent developments in the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict. The two leaders shared concerns regarding the safety of maritime traffic. Prime Minister reiterated the need for continued humanitarian aid for the affected population and emphasized an early and peaceful resolution of the conflict, including the release of all hostages, through dialogue and diplomacy. INDIA Alliance Leaders Condemn ‘Undemocratic’ Suspension of 151 MPs, Announce Unified Protest on December 22 for Parliamentary Security Breach and Democracy

After the conclusion of the INDIA Alliance meeting, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge says "Leaders of 28 political parties of the INDIA Alliance were present here in the fourth meeting held here today. We have passed a resolution that suspension is undemocratic. We will all have to fight to save democracy and all of us are ready to do that. We raised the issue of security breach in the Parliament. We have been saying for a long time that Union HM Amit Shah or PM Modi should come to the Parliament and speak in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha about the issue of Parliament security breach, but they are refusing to do so. This is the first time 151 members of the parliament have been suspended in the country. We will fight against this, this is wrong. We have united to fight against this. We have decided to hold a protest against the suspension of MPs on 22nd December."
