ED Raids Multiple Locations in PMLA Probe: Unearths Rs. 90 Cr Transactions, Rs. 78 Lakh Valuables
ED has conducted search operations on 15.12.2023 at various locations in Delhi NCR, Haryana, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra under PMLA, 2002 against M/s SVOGL Oil Gas & Energy Limited and M/s Max Tech Oil & Gas Services Pvt Ltd. and other connected persons/ entities. During search operations, evidence relating to sham transactions, transactions with shell entities and investments in shares and immovable properties to the extent of Rs. 90 Crore [approx.] have been found. Further,valuables worth Rs. 78 lakh and various incriminating documents/digital records were also recovered and seized.

The Goa liberation day is celebrated on December 19 every year to mark the success of 'Operation Vijay' undertaken by the armed forces to liberate the state from the Portuguese in 1961. "On Goa Liberation Day, the nation pays homage to the martyrs who laid down their lives for liberation of Goa from colonial rule. We salute the freedom fighters and our armed forces for their exemplary courage and sacrifice. I wish a bright future to the residents of this beautiful state," the president's office said in a post on X.
2 killed, 12 injured in road accident in UP
Two men were killed and 12 people injured when a dumper truck hit two vehicles and a handcart parked on the side of a road here, police said on Tuesday. The incident occurred late on Monday evening near the Mahadev intersection here. The dumper truck hit a motorcycle, e-rickshaw and a handcart, killing Sunil (22) and Sachin (23) and injuring 12 others, the police officer said. The injured were rushed to the community health centre from where they were referred to a hospital for better treatment, he said, adding that the dumper truck has been impounded and the driver was taken into custody.
