Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived Srinagar on Thursday. PM Modi is visiting Kashmir for the first time after article 370 has been revoked. He will address a huge crowd at Bakshi Stadium today.
BJP has shared a video on social media platform X. Taking to X, BJP said that there is great excitement among the people of Srinagar regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit. They further added that Kashmir is all ready to welcome PM Modi whole heartedly.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the “Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu Kashmir” programme, a huge crowd is expected to attend the event at the Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar.
During the event, Prime Minister Modi will introduce initiatives to boost Jammu and Kashmir’s agricultural industry, estimated to be worth ₹5,000 crore.
However, Omar Abdullah, the leader of the National Conference (NC) and a former chief minister, slammed Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday, saying they were trying every possible way to attract people to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s next rally.
He asserted that in order to be transported to Modi’s rally site, thousands of government employees had been told to meet at certain sites before dawn.
“Employees, men and women in 1000s are being asked to assemble between 4:30 am and 5:30 am in the freezing temperatures to be bused to the venue. This participation isn’t optional, it’s compulsory. Employees who don’t show up are being threatened with disciplinary action by their dept heads,” he said on X.
