Sharad Pawar ‘Unaware’ Of Nephew Ajit Pawar Meet With MLAs In Mumbai

Sharad Pawar, the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), responded to Ajit Pawar’s meeting with MLAs on Sunday at his official residence in Mumbai by claiming that he was unaware of the meeting, but added that the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Assembly has the authority to call a meeting.

This statement was issued by Sharad Pawar, who is now in Pune, prior to Ajit Pawar’s uprising against the NCP.

Ajit Pawar joined the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra administration as the deputy chief minister, dealing a severe blow to the Nationalist Congress Party. Together with BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis, he will share the position.

Along with Ajit Pawar, nine NCP leaders, including Chhagan Bhujbal, Dhananjay Munde, and Dilip Walse Patil, will take the oath of office as ministers. The oath taking cermony will be held in Raj Bhawan on Sunday.
