Prime Minister Narendra Modi will see ‘Bharat Shakti’ on March 12 in Pokhran, Rajasthan. This tri-services live firing and maneuver exercise is a coordinated display of indigenous defense capabilities.

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) stated in a statement on Sunday that Modi will also travel to Gujarat on Tuesday to inaugurate a number of development projects.

According to the statement, the “Bharat Shakti” would showcase a variety of homegrown military systems and platforms as proof of the nation’s strength and as a foundation for its drive toward self-reliance.

According to the statement, the exercise would replicate realistic, coordinated, multi-domain operations that showcase the Indian armed forces’ integrated operational capabilities to confront threats in the cyber, space, air, and ground domains.

According to the PMO, T-90 (IM) tanks, Dhanush and Sarang gun systems, Akash weapons system, logistical drones, robotic mules, advanced light helicopter, and a variety of unmanned aerial vehicles are among the important tools and weapons that the Army is using in the exercise.

The Navy will demonstrate its technological prowess and nautical might by exhibiting its anti-ship missiles, autonomous cargo carrying aerial vehicles, and expendable aerial targets.

The Air Force will demonstrate air superiority and agility in air operations by deploying light utility helicopters, advanced light helicopters, and the domestically manufactured Tejas light combat aircraft.
