PM Honours Padma Awardee Purnamasi Jani, Modi Touches Her feet in Odisha’s Kandhamal

Prime Minister Modi, while addressing an election rally in Kandhamal, Odisha today, said that blessings of entire Odisha are with me. When I get blessings of crores of mothers of the country, my heart feels satisfied.

PM honored Padma Award winner Purnamasi Jani by covering her with a shawl on the stage itself. The PM also touched his feet, however, Purnamasi held the PM’s hand. After this, she herself started touching the PM’s feet, then PM Modi held her hand and did not let her touch his feet. During this time the entire pandal was resonating with slogans of Modi-Modi. Its video is going viral on social media.

During this, in his address, PM Modi said that I reached Bhubaneswar yesterday evening. There was a huge crowd on the streets. Everyone came and gave blessings. The love of Odisha is a great strength for me. I am indebted to the people of Odisha. You people have made me a debtor. I assure that I will repay debt of your love and blessings by working hard and serving the country. The PM also said that he will make Odisha a developed state by working hard day and night.

During this, while attacking Congress, PM Modi said that when Atal Bihari Vajpayee conducted Pokhran test, Indians living all over the world were filled with pride. On one hand, there was a day when India had introduced its capabilities to the world, while on the other hand, Congress, repeatedly tries to scare its country by saying that Pakistan has atom bomb.

Congress is killing nation’s mind

Attacking all other opposition parties including Congress, PM Modi said that these dead people are also killing the mind of the country. Congress has always had this attitude. The condition of Pakistan is that it does not have the courage to handle the bomb. They have come to sell bombs, but their goods are not even sold because the quality is not good.

The Prime Minister further said that because of this thinking of Congress, Jammu and Kashmir has faced terrorism. These people used to hold meetings with terrorist organizations. After the 26/11 attacks, these people did not have the courage to take action against the supporters of terrorism. They were afraid that if we took action, the vote bank would get angry.
