Nishikant Dubey again hits out at Mahua Moitra

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and M.P Nishikant Dubey once more lashed out at Trinamool Congress (TMC) M. P Mahua Moitra for skipping the questioning session by the ethics committee of Parliament. Dubey stated that Mahua has time for media interviews but is “too busy” to face the ethics committee. It is to be recalled that the ethics committee of the parliament has summoned Mahua on October 31 for questioning.

A fresh date has been given to the TMC MP, which is on November 2, to appear before the ethics committee. The TMC MP have been asked to confirm by October 31. This after Mahua sought more time to appear for quizzing in the Cash for Query scam.  When asked more about it Dubey  didn’t want to elaborate more saying that he want to maintain the dignity of the houses of the parliament.

When asked about the business tycoon Darshan Hiranandani’s statement in X, Dubey said that Hiranandani has acknowledged his close loyalty towards the TMC MP.  Hiranandani have claimed to fulfill various demands of Mahua like covering travel expenses, providing holidays, renovating her officially allocated bungalow in Delhi, and gifting her expensive luxury items.

Dubey has termed Mahua’s conducts as detrimental to national security.
