Indigo Flight From Delhi To Varanasi Receives Bomb Threat, Passengers Evacuated

Early this morning, an Indigo flight from Delhi to Varanasi received a bomb threat report, prompting the implementation of emergency security measures. As soon as possible, the aircraft was relocated to an isolation bay for a comprehensive security check.

To make sure the incident is handled safely, a bomb disposal team and aviation security are presently on the scene.

According to the Delhi fire service, “There was news of a bomb on the flight going from Delhi to Varanasi at 5:35 AM today. Quick Response Teams (QRT) arrived at the spot”.

Delhi Airport Authorities confirmed that all passengers were safe. “All passengers are safe and the flight is undergoing a detailed inspection. All passengers were evacuated through the emergency exits without incident” and airport spokesperson said.

As the inquiry progresses, more details will be given.
