Bomb Threat

According to officials, the pilot was informed about the bomb threat shortly before the scheduled landing. He promptly contacted air traffic control and safely landed the flight at 5:14 pm in the Tango Taxi Area, away from the runway

Flight UK17, which departed from Delhi, was diverted as a precautionary measure after receiving a security threat via social media.

Akasa Air flight traveling from Delhi to Bengaluru was forced to return to IGI Airport after declaring an emergency due to a bomb threat.

The flight departed from Mumbai and was bound for New-York city, however, authorities had to divert it to Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi following the news of presence of bomb in the flight. 

To make sure the incident is handled safely, a bomb disposal team and aviation security are presently on the scene.

On Wednesday, the Ministry of Home Affairs officially declared that the email in question is deemed a hoax.

Multiple schools in the national capital have received bomb threats, prompting immediate searches and heightened security measures.

Taking the threat seriously, the High Court has increased security in and around the High Court premises.

On Friday, there was a bomb threat call received by Delhi Public School in the RK Puram area, leading to the evacuation of the premises.

The police stated that no suspicious objects had yet been found and that the staff and pupils had been removed from the premises right away.
