DMK Releases Manifesto Ahead Of Lok Sabha Elections, Promises To Ban NEET Examinations

Chief government of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin unveiled his party’s manifesto on Wednesday, pledging Puducherry statehood, ban NEET examinations, and giving the chief minister the authority to name the governor. Stalin also gave his sister Kanimozhi a lot of credit for writing the manifesto.

The party also released a list of candidates that will represent the party in the next Lok Sabha elections.

Chief Minister Stalin said, “It is the DMK which makes the manifesto before elections and continues to do what we say, this is what our leaders taught us. Schemes that were implemented under the Dravidian model for the betterment of Tamil Nadu will be taken across India” at the gathering while releasing his party’s manifesto.

MK Stalin praised his sister and said, “Kanimozhi has created a wonderful manifesto concentrating on schemes for each district.”

He further added, “As Kanimozhi said, we went all over the state and listened to various people. It is not only a DMK manifesto but the people’s manifesto.”

“When the BJP came to power in 2014, they destroyed India. None of the election promises were fulfilled. We have formed the INDIA alliance, and we will form our government in 2024. In our manifesto, we have announced special schemes for Tamil Nadu and schemes for every district are given in this manifesto.”

Talking about Narendra Modi’s visit to Tamil Nadu he said, “I would have been happy if PM Modi had come during the time of floods in Tamil Nadu.”

DK MP Kanimozhi said, “The main focus was on what the Union Government can do, and we tried to reach all the sectors. Trying to have a good and a stable government, I think the numbers will be adequate.”
