Australian Woman Caught on Video Performing Yoga Before Breaking Into Bakery to Steal Pastry

Australian police announced on Wednesday that a woman has been charged after allegedly breaking into a bakery following a yoga routine captured on security camera footage. The unidentified woman, dressed in a black leather jacket, ripped black jeans, and black shoes, was seen performing various yoga poses for at least two minutes in the car park of a Melbourne bakery in the middle of the night.

After completing her yoga routine, the woman appeared to enter the headquarters of Phillippa’s Bakery. The bakery confirmed that an almond croissant, cleaning products, and baker’s shoes were stolen during the incident.

Police have charged the woman with theft, burglary, and being equipped to steal. She was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on May 22.

Phillippa’s Bakery addressed the incident on Instagram, expressing surprise at the security footage of the break-in. The bakery humorously noted that yoga seemed to be a prerequisite for the burglary, jokingly commenting on the stolen croissants being too tempting for the “flexible burglar.”
