Bihar Woman Dies In Suspicious Condition In Kasganj, Family Blames In-Laws

Kasganj :A married woman from Bihar province died in suspicious condition in village Nagla Bhura of Sadar Kotwali area. The woman’s body was found hanging in the room of the house. The police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem.

The victim’s mother has filed a complaint with the police accusing her in-laws of murder. Suddenly there was chaos in the house of Jagbir, resident of Nagla Bhura, late on Wednesday night. The body of his wife Nandini was found hanging in a closed room. People in the neighborhood informed the police. Police reached the spot and removed the body from the noose and sent it for post-mortem after formalities.

On receiving information, her father Manoj Mandal, resident of Sufaul district of Bihar province and other family members have alleged that their daughter was murdered by her in-laws. He says that his daughter was married to Jagbir two years ago. She was being harassed continuously since her marriage. The victim’s family has filed a complaint against the in-laws to the police. Police has started investigating the matter. Inspector Sudhir Raghav says that a complaint has been received from the victim’s side. A case has been registered and action is being taken.
