Bharatiya Kisan Sangh Expresses Gratitude To CM For Waiving Off Electricity Bills Of Farmers

Meerut: Bharatiya Kisan Sangh Uttar Pradesh has expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for fulfilling its demand of providing free tube well electricity to the farmers. He said that this step will benefit the farmers. State General Secretary of Bharatiya Kisan Union Uttar Pradesh, Raj Singh Chauhan said that the farmers of Uttar Pradesh are being provided free facilities for irrigation from government tube wells and canals, whereas crores of farmers use their private tube wells for irrigation.

These farmers have to pay electricity bills, keeping in view the interest of such farmers, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh gave memorandums to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh at the district headquarters to waive off the electricity bills of the farmers. Fulfilling these demands, on March 5, the Yogi government decided to provide free tube well electricity to 1.5 crore farmer families. This decision awakened a wave of happiness among the farmers of the state. For this, Bharatiya Kisan Union expresses its gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
