After bike collision Delhi filmmaker bleeds for 30 mins as bystanders record videos, dies

According to Chowdhary, the CCTV footage captures Pal colliding with another bike that a man named Bunty (26), is riding. Friends of Pal contest this version. Bunty is a driver who works out of Gurugram, and Pal was a freelance photographer there as well. Based on Bunty’s testimony and a review of CCTV footage, an accident report was filed on Monday. We learned of Pal’s passing on Tuesday night,” Chowdhary continued.

Pal’s friends Swarnendu Bose who was terribly disturbed said, “The worst part is that for a long time, no one stepped forward to take him to the hospital or help him. The people who finally took him to the hospital told us that bystanders were recording videos and taking selfies but no one was helping him.”

“His mobile phone and laptop were taken away. His parents were trying to reach him on his phone but the person who took it kept cutting the calls and later switched off the phone. Had someone taken those calls and told the family, things could have been different,” he added.

When tragedy struck, Pal was only a few kilometres from his Kalkaji home. In Chittaranjan Park, his family owns a store where they sell items used for puja.
