This year, Shah Rukh Khan is really doing well! Following the success of his two blockbusters, Jawan and Pathaan, the actor is gearing up to delight his fans once again with his next film, Dunki. As this is SRK and filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s debut joint project, there are great hopes for a triple crown of success when it opens this Christmas. And now, as Pinkvilla had previously exclusively disclosed, the teaser for Dunki, also known as Drop 1, has been unveiled as a special gift in honor of King Khan’s 58th birthday, giving viewers a sneak peek at what’s to come.
The first glimpse of the film, dubbed Dunki Drop 1, was unveiled by the producers on Thursday, November 2. A glance at the emotional rollercoaster trip of friends setting out for London may be found in the one-minute, 47-second movie. A group of individuals are shown strolling through a desert in the initial picture, while an unidentified man is pointing a rifle at them. A mesmerizing background is provided by Sonu Nigam’s powerful vocals.
It introduces Shah Rukh Khan as Hardy, a character who charms everyone with his wit and humor. Taapsee Pannu stars opposite him as Manu, creating a dynamic on-screen pairing. The ensemble cast also includes Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover.
The first glimpse of the film thrilled the excited fans who had been waiting impatiently for news about it. One admirer wrote, “This movie will be the turning point of SRK’s life,” in the YouTube comments section.
Take note of this: He will always be remembered for his part, others said, while someone else said, “The SRK-HIRANI combo can never go wrong!” For SRK, this is the third ATB in a row.
The movie, which is being released in India on December 22, is being presented by Jio Studios, Rajkumar Hirani Films, and Red Chillies Entertainment. Furthermore, Dunki Drop 1 will be shown in theaters worldwide with Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, as Pinkvilla has exclusively discovered.
