3 friends slit UP Man’s throat, threw body outside ex-MLA’s farmhouse, arrested

In the Kannauj district of Uttar Pradesh, three people were taken into custody after they allegedly chopped off a man’s head and slit his throat.

The victim invited the accused, who have been named as Suraj, Ankur, and Lalit, to his rented apartment for a party on Sunday night.

Thirty-year-old Pradeep, who lives in Pahalwanpurwa, Kannauj, invited his friends. A dispute arose between Pradeep and his companions, which ultimately intensified to the point where the three accused slit Pradeep’s throat.

The friends threw Pradeep’s body outside the Etah farmhouse of Rajeshwar Singh, a former MLA for the Samajwadi Party. His body was dumped on the road that went from Bithoor to the Ganga Barrage.

Pradeep’s head was crushed by bricks while throwing the body. When the neighboring farmhouse’s security guard noticed the incident, he notified the Nawabganj police station.

The three accused were taken into custody based on the information the security guard provided to the police.

All three admitted to the murder during their initial interrogation that they killed him because of an argument that happened while they were drunk.

Each of the three has a murder case filed against them. There was blood on their clothes.

“The incident happened between 3 am and 4 am in the night. The clothes and hands of the three arrested murderers were stained with blood. There was blood on an e-rickshaw as well. The forensic team has collected evidence from the spot. All three are being interrogated,” said Akmal Khan, ACP Colonelganj.

One person was taken into custody right away, while the other two escaped, according to the police. The other two accused were later apprehended as well.

The official stated that the deceased’s family members had left Kannauj for Kanpur and that the body had been sent for a post-mortem.
