On Thursday, an 11-year-old boy’s body was discovered under a bed box at his home in Delhi’s Inderpuri area. The boy’s neck bore signs of strangling.
The boy’s mother gave a statement to the police, and a murder case has been filed.
The deceased’s mother, Neelu, reported to the police that she arrived home on Thursday evening and found it locked from outside. She initially thought the youngster had gone for a walk, but she soon got a call from the boy’s dancing teacher informing her that he had missed class.
Jitendra, Neelu’s spouse, were about to divorce as both were had filed case for divorce and living apart. Neelu contacted Jitendra when her son vanished, but a woman picked up.
Neelu claims that the woman questioned her about how it would feel to lose one’s most priceless thing.
Deceased’s mother said the call alarmed her and after a quick search, she discovered the child’s body hidden in the bed box. The child was found unconscious and with the help of neighbours she took her to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
The accused has been identified, according to Delhi Police, and many teams have been formed to catch her. Raids are also being carried out at her potential hiding places.
According to the information that is currently known, the suspect was acquainted with the boy’s family and had even visited their house in the past. However, according to the officials, they got into a fight over a few things.
The culprit allegedly committed the crime on Thursday when the boy’s mother wasn’t home, according to Delhi Police.
