Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, an actress, has recently made headlines. Shekhar Kapur, a filmmaker and her ex-husband, was recently mentioned by her. They separated in 2007 after a 12-year relationship. Suchitra recently discussed how she met Shekhar, how they got married, and why they divorced in an interview. She even attributed Preity Zinta’s divorce from Shekhar to her. Despite their troubled background, Suchitra and Shekhar are still co-parenting Kaveri Kapur. She recently discussed their kid in the same interview and acknowledged that their divorce had an impact on her.
Shekhar is a “very good” and “committed” parent, according to the Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa actress who recently spoke to Bollywood Thikana. She revealed that the talented filmmaker and Kaveri are good friends. She acknowledged, though, that Kaveri was profoundly impacted by their separation. “We are still co-parenting our child,” Suchitra declared. There will always be a connection between us as parents and our daughter. Even more, I compliment his excellent parenting skills and dedication. In comparison to me, my daughter is closer to him.
The actress said regarding the split, “She (Kaveri) is definitely very affected by what happened between me and Shekhar.” Suchitra responded without hesitation when asked whether Kaveri had experienced childhood trauma. She went on to provide more detail and explain how Kaveri was impacted at the time. Every parent does the best they can, she remarked. Each child experiences trauma, but this is especially true for kids from dysfunctional families with famous parents. Imagine the youngster hearing from others, “Maine ye suna, maine ye padhaa, kya aisa hai” (I read this. That was something I overheard. (Is this accurate?) youngsters are unprepared to handle this, either. They are really tender-hearted. It’s a very challenging scenario for them because they are attempting to balance their love for both of their parents.
Suchitra also revealed how she raised her daughter alone. She described it as “tough” and acknowledged that parenting her by herself had been challenging.
