Amitabh Bachchan Celebrates Son Abhishek’s Silver Jubilee In Bollywood

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan took to social media to honour his son Abhishek Bachchan’s 25-year milestone in the Indian film industry.

The megastar expressed his pride in a heartfelt tribute that acknowledged Abhishek’s talent, persistence, and evolution as an actor over the years.

The 81-year-old actor responded to a fan account’s post featuring a video montage of Abhishek’s iconic roles through the decades.

The post highlighted his comic timing, diverse acting range, and enduring charm.

In a touching Hindi message, Amitabh wrote, “Is variety ko main pranaam karta hoon, aur apne putra ki sarahna karta hoon. Jee haan, pita hoon main uska, aur mere liye mera putra Abhishek sarahna karne yogya hai,” which translates to, “I bow to this variety and I praise my son. Yes, I am his father, and for me, my son Abhishek is worthy of praise.”

Acknowledging his ongoing work

In a separate post, Amitabh shared updates on Abhishek’s current film projects.

He mentioned that one film is set to release shortly, and another, titled King, has just begun production.

“One film will release soon, and there is a start of a new film, first day of shooting of King… My blessings Bhaiyu… love and more. And one more film shooting is complete and ready and coming soon… my prayers ever,” he wrote.

Abhishek Bachchan began his acting career in 2000 with JP Dutta’s Refugee, where he starred opposite Kareena Kapoor.
