CBI Detains GAIL Executive Director In Bribery Case Involving Rs 50 Lakh

Officials stated Tuesday that the CBI has arrested a GAIL Executive Director in connection with the alleged Rs 50 lakh bribery case in which money was exchanged to favor certain contractors in the gas pipeline projects.

“Four others were arrested with GAIL Executive Director (Projects) K B Singh”, officials continued.

They said searches are taking place in Delhi, Noida, and Visakhapatnam in connection with the investigation.
