After wrapping up a successful and impactful visit to Bahrain, the Indian all-party parliamentary delegation led by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Baijayant Jay Panda arrived in Kuwait City on May 26.
The visit is part of ‘Operation Sindoor’, India’s global outreach campaign to highlight its unwavering zero-tolerance stance against terrorism following the deadly Pahalgam attack on April 22.
Diplomatic Welcome In Kuwait
The eight-member delegation was received at the airport by India’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Adarsh Swaika.
The Indian Embassy underscored the mission’s significance in a social media post, affirming that the delegation carries India’s resolute message of ‘Zero Tolerance and New Normal’ against terrorism.

The delegation includes MPs from across the political spectrum, such as BJP MPs Nishikant Dubey, Phangnon Konyak, Rekha Sharma, Satnam Singh Sandhu, AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi, former J&K Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, and former diplomat Harsh Shringla.
Before arriving in Kuwait, the delegation held a series of influential meetings in Bahrain.
These included discussions with Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, and First Deputy Speaker Abdul Nabi Salman Ahmed.
The Indian side briefed Bahraini leaders and think tanks, such as the King Hamad Global Centre for Coexistence and Tolerance and the International Institute for Strategic Studies, on India’s calibrated and non-escalatory response to the Pahalgam terror incident through ‘Operation Sindoor’.
The delegation emphasised India’s commitment to peace while standing resolute against cross-border terrorism.
A Broader Strategic Campaign
The Kuwait visit marks another step in a 30-country ‘Operation Sindoor’ mission, aimed at countering misinformation and garnering international support for India’s anti-terror stance.
This outreach covers countries including Saudi Arabia, the UK, France, Germany, Indonesia, the US, and others across Asia, Africa, and Europe.
India launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ on May 7 as a precision military strike against terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir in direct response to the Pahalgam attack that killed innocent civilians.
The Indian military also repelled retaliatory attempts by Pakistan, underlining the strength of its national defence.
Through strategic diplomacy and cross-party unity, India is using ‘Operation Sindoor’ not only to respond militarily but also to shape global public opinion.
The Kuwait leg will deepen diplomatic ties and rally support for India’s fight against terrorism as a global challenge.
