System Failure Leaves Sri Lanka Without Electricity

A government official claimed on Saturday that Sri Lanka is facing a nationwide power outage owing to a system failure.

According to CEB spokesperson Noel Priyantha, the country’s power monopoly, the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), is trying to restore power.
